No referral is required.

I know cost matters and I don’t take that lightly. I choose not to take insurance so I can stay focused on you and give you the privacy you deserve. No prior authorizations, no restricted visit lengths, and no one else in the room so your time with me is yours.
-
Your initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll review your symptoms, medical & mental health history, current medications, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. We’ll collaborate on a personalized treatment plan.
-
You can be in any place that is private and comfortable for you in the state of Arizona. Telehealth laws are based on both my professional licensing & the state you are physically located in at the time of the appointment. If you are physically located in another state where I am not licensed at the time of a visit, I am unable to see you and you will need to reschedule.
-
A reliable internet connection and a smartphone, tablet, or computer with both a camera and microphone. Your space will need to be private to comply with HIPPA laws. You may be in your parked car, but you may be driving at the time of our appointment. If you are driving during a visit, you will be charged the full cancellation fee & you will need to reschedule.

I provide full psychiatric medication management when clinically appropriate. I take a personalized approach to prescribing, carefully monitoring your response to medication and making adjustments as needed. My goal is to find the most effective and sustainable treatment plan for you.
-
No, not necessarily. Medication is just one tool for mental health care. If you're unsure about medication, we can explore other options, including therapy, lifestyle changes, and holistic approaches.
-
Controlled medications, such as stimulants or benzodiazepines, are prescribed only when clinically indicated and as part of a well-monitored treatment plan in accordance with state and federal regulations. I do not prescribe opioid pain medications. My priority is ensuring medications are used safely and effectively. In order to comply with regulations, additional testing, documentation, or in-person evaluations may be required.
-
Prescription medications aren’t the only molecules that impact brain pathways involved in mood regulation. We can work with you to use nutritional supplementation and plant-based medicines to feel better. We make recommendations through Fullscript, which offers trusted supplements with independent third-party testing at a discount to you.
-
Yes, while we focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management, brief therapeutic interventions or psychotherapy may be incorporated into visits. I’m happy to collaborate with your therapist or refer you to trusted therapists as well.
-
No, these services are not currently offered but may be considered in the future as regulations, evidence, and clinical appropriateness evolve. Referrals can be provided for these services.
